Test Essay Topics

Current WHITE BELT: Choose 1 or 2 of the Ten Commandments of Tae Kwon Do and explain what they mean to you.

* Less than 7 years old, do not write an essay.  Draw a colorful picture of your family.

 

Current YELLOW BELT: What Kinds of benefits do you expect to gain from learning Tae Kwon Do? 

* Less than 7 years old, draw a colorful picture of the Korean Flag and the American Flag. 

 

Current ORANGE BELT:  Write about yourself. Include something about your hobbies, likes and dislikes 

* Less than 7 years old, draw a picture of your favorite things. (Foods, toys, sports, etc) 

 

Current GREEN BELT: Explain your favorite block, attack, and kick. You may use pictures to support your explanation.                  

* Less than 7 years old, draw a picture of yourself doing Tae Kwon Do. 

 

Current PURPLE BELT: Explain your Form. Include the name of form, its meaning, special movements, and any other important details. 

* Less than 7 years old, draw a colorful picture of yourself as a grown-up, showing what you want to be when you grow up. 

 

Current BLUE BELT: Why do you think sparring in TKD is necessary?

* Less than 7 years old, draw a colorful picture of a sparring class. 

 

Current SUPER BLUE BELT: Write about what respect means to you.

* Less than 7 years old, draw picture of your Master or school teacher.

 

Current RED BELT: Write about self-control and why it is important

* Less than 7 years old, write about what you like about Tae Kwon Do.

 

Current BROWN BELT: Write a letter to yourself, including details about how Tae Kwon Do has affected you, such as your pride, self-confidence, and personal growth.  

* Less than 7 years old, Tell us My Favorite Thing about Tae Kwon Do.

 

Current PRE-BLACK BELT: Write about your goal after earning your Certified Black Belt.  

* Less than 7 years old, Tell us about your goal after earning your Certified Black Belt.

 

Current DEPUTY BLACK BELT: Write a one-page essay about how you started Tae Kwon Do.   Include the benefits that you have received since joining class,  and finish with an appreciation letter to your parents.
